Saw Citizen Kane for the first time ever yesterday (about time). Very nice photo, special effects, make-up, symbolism and small details sprinkled all over the place.
Also watched
Pans Labyrinth by Guillermo del Toro on sunday. Extremely pretty fairy tale for grown ups! Recommended.The Arcade Fire - The Well And The Lighthouse [Rough trade, 2007] (pre-order)
New upcoming album from these pop song crafters extraordinare. Gonna be released in March (the 5th?). A bit tighter sound than on Funeral, same big arrangements, and we have one fine record that will probably be quite well received by most people. This track and ‘No cars go’ are the catchiest imo.
