Radio Slave - Bell Clap Dance (Remixes)

By admin • Sep 11th, 2008 • Category: Music, Single/EP Reviews

Its fair to say I got in some hot water on my old blog Underground Movements for posting a download link to the original of this track, several months before it eventually came out. Perhaps the slowest of slow burners on the rekids label, ‘Bell Clap Dance’ is getting a new lease on life thanks to remixes from ‘Slam’ and ‘Simon Baker’.

Haunted Reverie…

By admin • Feb 27th, 2008 • Category: Music

Newworldaquarium is the moniker of the awesome Jochem Peteri, a man I don’t know much about besides his music, which sounds ridiculously good. There is something appropriate to me right now about getting lost in the music of an anonymous person across the globe (the Netherlands, to be exact,) I just love the [...]

Hercules and Love Affair and Goldfrapp

By admin • Feb 10th, 2008 • Category: Music

Here’s some further proof of Hecules and Love Affair’s impending takeover: a really sweet remix of Goldfrapp’s A&E. There are a lot of really awesome and unusual sounds going on in this track, I’ll just let it speak for itself (it has a lot to say.)
Goldfrapp - A&E (Hercules and Love Affair remix)

PS: The album [...]

Deep Vibe

By admin • Jan 28th, 2008 • Category: Uncategorized

So the house style du jour is deep? Must be a reaction to the dry, clicking cuts of minimal, a submerged desire to be bludgeoned by the beat, the need for an authoritative jack-master, none of that flimsy plip plop bullshit in 2008. Whatever, that suits me as I often like [...]

One Night In Barcelona

Corrugated Tunnel - One Night In Barcelona -[Elevation Recordings]
Excellent deep house now from Irish man Edwin James Aka Corrugated Tunnel. It starts off dark and intense as if there is a storm brewing,Income the deep & warm pads as this track starts to show off its true potential. Quickly followed by shuffling and hand claps everything working [...]

Hello Random Circuits readers, my name is Matt, a couple of you might remember me from Trainspotter, which is now basically defunct. I’m happy to be joining the RC crew, and I’ll try not to ruin their awesome blog.

Side step test

Haruki Matsuo - Side Step Test - [Rush Hour Recordings]

Simplicity is the key here and it works so damn well.
Its Haruki Matsuo debut and he doesn’t disappoint.
Bringing back that early 90’s warehouse vibe with a simple unadulterated deep techno groove that will have the floor moving all night.
Absolute Killer!

Moonbeam - Slow heart [Traum, 2008] (d/l)Our favorite russian techno makers are back once again. Traum is the label, Spring Story is the release. Three tracks of minimal and crunchy techno, a la Traum & Moonbeam. No weaknesses can be heard on any of the songs. Chunky, ever evolving sounds on a very solid outing. [...]
