The Random Mix With Craig Gordon

By Joe • Jul 2nd, 2008 • Category: Featured Story, Mixes, Music

This should be classed more of a journey than a mix always keeping the listener on their toes (how it should be) Craig goes about things very well indeed.

New Wave mix by John Diaz

By Joel • Jun 27th, 2008 • Category: Featured Story, Mixes, Music, Rewound Circuits

CBS.nu - The Cybernetic Broadcasting System is a place full of amazing people and music. It was there that I found this freaky and stunning New Wave mix by John Diaz (myspace). No track-listing. It’s 1h19m of 80s cheese-tronic synth music. Nothing particularly interesting about that in itself usually. The difference is that this [...]

Marcel Dettmann live at Zen Zero Club Italy 24/4/08

By Joe • Jun 1st, 2008 • Category: Featured Story, Mixes, Music

Time for some real techno now on RC. I’ve been listening a lot to the Berghain sounds of techno recently, in particular the sounds of Dettmann, Klock and the other usual Berlin suspects. Here we have a recent set from Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann. He hits you up with a extended techno mix that’s been put into 2 handy zip folders each 1hr and 15 minutes long, which will be sure to take you late into the night and beyond. This is the sound of techno in 2008 and i like it.

Finite automata mix

By Joel • May 26th, 2008 • Category: Featured Story, Mixes, Music

Okay, new mix from myself. I won’t lie, it was a while since i did this so the oucome is not technically very impressive. I am however very happy with how the tunes were laid out and the weirdness to the mix. Starting out blasphemy-style right away by fucking with Technicolor together with some crazy [...]

The Random Mix With Craig Gordon

By Joe • May 19th, 2008 • Category: Featured Story, Mixes, Music

Friend of the blog, Craig Gordon has sent us his latest mix & i must say it’s really good. Just what you need as summer is nearly upon us. This is an expertly crafted & quite emotional mix, taking you on a roller coaster of emotions through sublime vocals, cool edgy house music & some straight up techno. Just what the doctor ordered.

Mathias Kaden In The Mix

By Joe • Apr 9th, 2008 • Category: Mixes, Music

There’s big love for Mathias Kaden here at RC. And this mix shows why we & others rate him highly. Whilst browsing the web i came across this mix recorded live in Holland. Too good to pass on! As the downloading numbers suggest (into the thousands) it’s a highly rated mix. Feel free to do some trainspotting in the comment box i [...]

Four to the Floooor!

By admin • Jan 25th, 2008 • Category: Mixes

Hello Random Circuits readers, my name is Matt, a couple of you might remember me from Trainspotter, which is now basically defunct. I’m happy to be joining the RC crew, and I’ll try not to ruin their awesome blog.
In the interest of carrying on Shawn’s newly established tradition of introducing yourself with a mix, here [...]

Tell Me I Belong

By Shawn • Jan 21st, 2008 • Category: Mixes

Here is a mix I made about a month ago that contains some tracks that have been posted on Random Circuits and my previous blog Trainspotter. After a terrible heartbreak and moving to a totally new country, I am still trying to figure out where I belong in this world. Random Circuits seems like it [...]

Matt’s End of Summer Mix

By admin • Sep 8th, 2007 • Category: Mixes, Music

The end of summer is always kind of a bummer, but let us rejoice in the fact that parties are actually more plentiful when school is in. So on that somber, yet promising note, here is a mix made in the warm, humid, gestation of Florida’s sweltering August–with my heart in the heat and my [...]
