Andomat 3000 -”Bnd2″ - [Promo/Forthcoming on Four:Twenty Recordings]
Excellent house EP from Andomat 3000. Bnd2 is a cool dance-floor excursion into the deep wilderness of the jungle. It kicks of with the greatest shuffled percussion and a unforgettable drum pattern thats sure to keep you moving your feet. Every so often theres a sort of bird call which stutters and vibrates, as if its calling out in some sort of mating ritual. This gives way, but only to make way for the brass section of the track. Where He uses the horns / trumpets to great effect causing a funky but tribal vibe to the piece, its extremely catchy and instantly ear catching. If your looking for some quality house music with a good tribal edge to it look no further. At the 6+ min mark he brings in a tribal shout that sounds like its been taken from some long lost tribe. If that wasn’t enough it comes complete with another, more dance floor friendly remix by Kiki & a more experimental re -rub from Luke Solomon. All in all this Ep is one of my favorites of 2008 thus far i reckon we will be hearing this alot more over the coming months.Fantastic 5*****

the beginning reminds me to eric b. & rakim - don’t sweat the technique.dont get me wrong bnd2 is a nice tune though.
Thanks for the info, il have to check that eric b & rakim track out.
you beat me to the punch again. i was going to post the luke solomon remix which is subtly a little more satisfying.
Yeah its great i should have given it more praise after listening to it more carefully.
Btw just a quick heads up Four: Twenty is a label we CANT post mp3’s on i know this for certain they get a bit pissed off.
