Dreesvn - “Tall Stories” [Acido Records] (buy)
Dreesvn’s been away for a hot minute but now he’s back with this essential five track EP of pure - raw techno music. Basic & stripped back to the bone with rhythmically charged - free flowing percussion & raw ’ass melodies’. If you think Berlin your only half way there as the “Dynamic” one doesn’t just blend Berlin flavours with ease, oh no - he also goes back to the early Detroit & Chicago sound & intertwines the whole thing together. Raw as you like & in places obscure & experimental. I really cant praise this enough, be sure to check it for yourself. If your only going to buy one EP this month let it be “Tall Stories”, you wont be disappointed.

good stuff plus I like the record art
Definitely one of my favorite 12s of the year. Spotted it in a Redshape chart, but otherwise I’ve barely seen any mention of it. Glad to see it get some well-deserved attention.
