The German home grown techno talent known as Dominik Eulberg has been one of the most influential and forward thinking producers out there for a very long time. With a back catalogue that has given us some truly inspiring sounds (Flaura & Fauna) anyone or perhaps a bit of “Harzer Roller” or maybe a slice of one of the many remixes that he is so good at. Part time park ranger, part time producer Dominik is at one with nature at all times you just have to listen to his music to see this. Check out the titles to his music too 99.9% they will relate to nature take ”Der Muckenschwarm” (which translates as a swarm of Mosquito’s) and when you listen to it, it really comes alive & it’s like your being chased by an angry swarm of them. His latest sees him remixing Hot Chip’s “One Pure Thought”.
He takes hold of the original and gives it a total rework by extended it up to 11 minutes, stripping it down to each component and giving it a new lease of life. Taking you on a journey through soothing choir like vocals, deep organ piano riffs and some real nice crackling synths. It’s quite a masterful remix, especially when you hear the original and see the extent that he has gone to, to totally rework it. It has some lovely soft oriental melodies accompanied by a sweet piano riff. It’s his use of Joe Goddard’s vocals that really make the track. It’s like being in a church when the lead choir boy stands up and sings making his voice echo of every wall, and everyone in the church shares “that moment”. You feel the hairs on your arms stand on end as the angelic voice comes through the speakers. Dominik’s production is crisp and typically him, with constant movement and clean layering. This is one remix that will be in a lot of end of year charts. Superb.

SEEMS LIKE PEOPLE .. ARE SCARED OF POSTING TUNES NOWADAYS .. URR REALLY QUITE PUSHED TO FIND A TUNE TO DOWNLOAD ON THIS SITE THESE DAYS .. WHY DID U HAVE TO GO AND FUK IT ALL UP .. When it had the stripey background it was perfect .. it wasnt broke so why try and fix it .. then they brought in 2 other people when there was no need, now this waste of space site .. come on lads we have resident advisor for stuf like that . go back yo wat you did best , which was finding and sharing the best tunes. i say even bring back the old interface too , theres too much clicking to be done now too many pages.. the old random circuits was way better .. please bring it back

@ Ashley/ Anon lol if you want the music that bad why dont you go out and buy it instead of moaning and flooding the comment box with illiterate nonesense. It’s quite clear that your getting wound up about the lack of mp3’s, as on one post your telling us that Joels mp3 posts are only worth checking then on this post your agreeing with Anon. It’s all very petty, not to mention you refering to yourself as a 2nd person in earlier posts you posted as anon then Ashley, we know this as the same IP address came up twice. Get a grip sunshine. If it continues i’ll just block your ip address.
Actally clever cloggs this is a public computer at my uni, and joels posts are not only worth checking because they include mp3 but they always include good quality music , he seems to be the only one posting good stuff.
Im not only wound up about the lack of mp3 , but also the lack of quality.
Why has such a good Blog gone down hill so quickly, im just annoyed cos this used to be my favourite site full of exciting good quality music, raw with nothing fancy just good music. In my opinion this is no longer the case , but i guess its your site , you do what you want with it.
Fair enough your entitled to your opinion, not that i agree but at least it’s constructive criticism.If Joel is the only one posting quality music why are you asking for mp3s rom posts that i have posted? What would you class as quality raw music ? the generic, boring “beatport” tech house that we used to post? Times change, music changes ,i find 99% of tech house very samey and incredibly boring, i much prefer the deeper house and techno and will continue to do so. Too many producers are making mediocre tech house these days and its just not cutting it with me, so much so i don’t even take notice in beatport i rarely visit the site and dont even have an account. I wouldn’t say the music is “fancy” its just house and techno.
