Rozzo -I Wish I Was A Cat -Trackdown Records

Its all about the simple house groove something that will get any floor moving no matter where or what time its dropped. I Wish i Was a Cat is the perfect way to spice up your set in the most simplistic way possible, When your out on the floor at your place of worship week in week out what tunes stick in your head? I’ll tell you what the catchy ones you wont remember a dull track because we just don’t function like that. This is a simple percussive tribal groove that will slot into your set like a missing piece in a jigsaw puzzle. It gets a little more percussive as the bouncy synths are added but still maintains its simplicity. The groove bounces delicatly off the incoming beat of the drum, fizzing and shuffling but remains sterdy and strong.A very cool track that will work wonders.

Andomat3000  - ”Vertical Smile” -Cécille Records

Andomat 3000 is probably the hardest working producer out there ive picked up 3 EP,s and a remix of his this month alone. But its his Cognitive Dissonance EP on the ever evolving Cécille Recordsthat stands out from the crowd, three tracks of excellent deep/techy house music, very fresh and forward thinking. Vertical smile leads the way followed closely by Cicl?. I love all this awkward house music with these wonky riffs and bouncy percussion that’s about at the moment. This is deep loving and warm but at the same time it chugs along quite awkwardly in the best way possible, thrumming riffs and the odd shout out adding to the deep vibe quite perfectly. The other two tracks are just as good  i urge you to go out & buy this fantastic EP and whilst your there check out what else Cécille Records has to offer.

Producer of the month by far.

  4. thanks for the nice review,

but why i donwload link? have you produced and published tracks before? then you would know how much work is behind that and how pissed off you get when it gets downloaded illegally.

    thanks for removing that link

  5. I agree with andré….pretty sad and a pain in the ass for those who try keeping alive the indiependent electronic music scene….

  6. Sorry its been removed, I suppose when you put it like that it makes me feel bad.But to tackle the whole illegal downloading thing (as a whole) files need to have some sort of protection we put out mp3s. Its the RAR sites that cause the most damage.By putting out full unreleased albums and EP’S maybe with rapidshare in the midst off getting a law suit on them, it might slow the whole thing down. But until then the producers are fighting a losing battle.I dont agree with it but its just the way it works with p2p sites & tones of RAR sites. I buy lots & lots of music every week some people will never buy music and download it all illegally.Anyway i apologise.

So you didnt download then philippe!?

  7. Thanks for sharing.
