James Duncan - “Friday Night Sessions” [Le Systeme Records] (buy)

Deep house head - James Duncan returns after a four year hiatus from producing, however after listening to these cool house cuts you wouldn’t think that he’s been away from the studio for this lengthy amount of time. James brings ‘real’ deep house back to the table with Friday Night Sessions as he crafts his way through deep house timbres, rolling grooves, up-beat tempos & organic piano sections, all of which are backed up with Duncan’s great vocal sampling. “Friday night sessions” is an apt name for this quality EP now all you need to do is get your friends together, get the beers in, the decks out & get down… To James’s deep house sound.
