Move D -”Quit Quittin Ep” -[Uzuri] (buy)

Move -d Aka David Moufang is no stranger to producing excellent deep house & dubby techno. With this latest EP that’s recently dropped, he shows off his talented skills yet again. Quit Quittin EP is a solid four tracker of blissful deep house music that’s been tampered with by the minimal stick, and in places had a pinch of acid thrown on it for good measure. Kicking off with the title track “Quit Quittin” which comes at you straight away with a twinkling synth action and violent hand claps, In comes the vocal (well its more of a sample) sounding like its straight out of the 90’s with the “Wooah yeah” whilst all this is happening he adds a droning deep piano loop and introduces some acid which drips and drops all over the place causing the receptors in your brain to go into overload. A change of pace is coming and its a good one “Jus House” is more on the deep house side its very cool calm and collected & it flows like a babbling brook, with the up most of composure. The two other tracks Sisters & Brothers & Crashed Jazz take another turn. The latter goes on more of a melodic mind trip into all things deep and hits you with the coolest piano. Sisters & Brothers sounds like a house party going off with some cool NY flavours thrown into the mix. This EP will not disappoint if your thing is house music i can highly recommend this.

  1. very nice. my thing is house thanks

  2. Thanks, Move D’s output in through 2007 and through has all been quite amazing. I would seriously recommend everything of his I’ve heard since then (especially Ac1d, or Got Thing)

Also, I really respect the fact that you’ve stopped putting new stuff up for download (since I mean, the point is to get music heard, not to give away high-quality downloads to attract readers, which if you ask me is a bit on the easy/lazy side)(I don’t put out records/work for a label by the way!) Keep up the fine work!

  3. Thanks milt its good to know, & its appreciated.
