Les Cerveaux Lents -”Tribute To Chicago” [Karat] (buy)

Tribute to Chicago is a cheeky jacking house number that goes deep. Les Cerveaux Lents is Ark & Mikaeil Weill, usually known for there more minimal approach this time they they leave that behind and opt for the deeper jacking house vibe. They jack the hell out of ”Tribute” by adding a deep looped piano riff, playful old skool vocals and a genuine old skool flavor that goes all wonky and wrong. I like this alot it will get the floor moving & it works well next to the deeper tracks. The groove is insanely catchy and it makes me move. The b side is “Le Manege Hantee” this goes on a totally different tip more melodies and vocals that have been looped, chopped up and re-arranged then placed on top of a jacking beat that’s so offside & wonky you will think your brain is going to explode. “Tribute to Chicago” is my favorite. If you like tracks on the [Floppy Funk] label or music by (Minimono) this is for you, something a little different that will give your set that little extra.
