It was only a matter of time before Markus Fix graced the pages of RC again. After a terrific response from his “Cannibals” EP, on Cecille. Markus is back & better than ever. It’s the A side from this 2 sided EP that interests me the most. “Yes You Know Me” is a deep house delight that circulates it’s attention around a classic piano loop and some cool & calm shuffled percussion. He takes you with him on every step of the journey, never tiring or losing focus. This could quite easily be used at the end of the night as your pièce de résistance . There’s something magic about this track. The piano gives you an incredibly warm & well being feeling throughout, such a great piece of house music & one of Markus’s best to date. Available on the ever excellent Below label.
