Melon -”Nitzi” (in my mind so fine) [Innervisions Secret Weapons Part 2]
Melon is a relatively new name to me, I’ve heard a few of his DJ sets and was pleased with what i heard so when i discovered that he had a release on the new Innervisions record i was eager to hear it. “Nitzi” (in my mind so fine), the title to the track doesn’t disappoint in fact i think its diamond amongst the dirt. It’s a quality piece of house that sounds like its been around for years their is something about it that draws you in. He builds it effortlessly cool, calm and collected come to mind. It’s the sort of record that you would want to hear whilst sunning yourself on a hot August afternoon on the decking, listening to the sea by Cafe Mambo. The vocals have that spine tingling feeling the sort that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. It’s a really great record, I’m looking forward to hearing more of what Mr Melon has to offer.
