Rewound Circuit Of The Week

One of my favourite summer records from the last few years has to be the “Porcupine” by Martin Buttrich & Loco Dice under a guise as “Latex” which was released on [Rebelone] the limited edition label from Crosstown Rebels. I remember first hearing it on Damian Lazarus & Micheal Mayer’s free “stink” cd that they handed out to the party people on their flagship night at DC10. One of those records that has just about everything, full of melody & rhythm and has been made with a lot of care and attention. A record that you will go back to time and time again and one that never seems to date. No matter when this gets played you instantly think of summer & lots of good memories, great vibes and good times. Latex - “The Porcupine” (d/l)
