Rewound Circuit of the week

I think its important to look back on music, after all there’s no future without a past be it looking back 10+ years or just a few years, it’s good to know the background of electronic music even if its just a sketchy view on things it makes you feel better if you know a little about the subject in hand, especially when your ”writing” about it. This is partly the reason i wanted to open the vaults and look back at some records you may have missed or records that just deserve some more attention. Today’s track is from 2006 i remember hearing it for the first time late in 2005 when Damian Lazarus dropped it. It made the dance floor almost grind to a halt, it was a moment for sure. Everyone was on the same vibe mesmerised & in a state of trance. There was something about this record it was almost as if you could taste the music as it washed upon the floor with a calm but eerie presence, it wasn’t until the 5 + min mark that you realise the track has vocals this was applauded by whistles and screams of pure delight everyone with smiles on faces as the sublime singing came through the speakers clear as a bell. Yes this was Jennifer Cardini & Shonky’s Remix of Far Away by Mlle Caro & Franck Garcia (d/l )
