Shonky -”Time Zero” -(Mathias Kaden’s Vas-Y Gamin remix) (buy)

Mathias Kaden is shaping up to be one of the producers of the year for me. With a substantial number of remixes already under his belt and a EP on Freude Am Tanzen it’s looking like a good year for Mathias. His latest remix sees him take on Shonky’s “Time Zero” the title track from the Parisians forthcoming album on Freak n’ Chic. Mathias gives it a slow but deep percussive vibe that jitters off in many directions. He builds it with a great layering action & one that works very well. Gradually getting more deeper and more hypnotic. There’s a deep rubbery bass that coils over itself giving the track some depth, whilst the percussion works overtime. Paul Ritch also has his say with his version. If your familiar with Ritch’s sound you wont be disappointed with this. It’s the Mathias Kaden remix which does it for me though. Available to buy from the 7th April on Freak n’ Chic.
