Redshape - Plonk

By Joel • May 18th, 2008 • Category: Featured Story, Music, Single/EP Reviews

What can I say? I’m a fan of the artist behind the red mask. Redshape’s latest release is called Plonk. It comes on a blue translucent vinyl courtesy of Present. I’m liking the dub version a bit more than its original. We are treated more than seven minutes of pure Redshapeian techno prowess here, people. Plonk will fit as well on the dancefloor as in your little white earbuds. The tune mangles on like a very firm steamroller, 100% sure on its path to ultimate body and mind domination. While the track isn’t exactly dramatic or surprising in any way or shape it makes well up for it with sheer force and exact surgical techno devastation. A given purchase.
